Social Security of St Kitts and Nevis grew by $350 million in five years: Eugene Hamilton
Social Security Board of St Kitts and Nevis has assets of more than $1.7 billion and has grown by more than $350 million in the last 5 years.

He asked employed individuals to stick to their Social Security obligations. He said that the continued payments might continue to expand and satisfy the obligations of insured people.
During a brief address to the Pastor and congregation of the Bethesda Moravian Church in Cayon on Sunday, January 30, 2022, the Minister responsible for Social Security, Eugene Hamilton, emphasised the need to preserve the Fund properly.
"I appeal to all those who are employed to refrain from telling their employers not to take out your money for Social Security."
"Those of you who are self-employed must contribute as well because there will come a moment when you will use that money to get you through," Minister Hamilton remarked."Live up to your end of the contract, and I can assure you...," he continued.
Minister stated, "Social Security will cover every single one of you and your families."
In honour of the agency's 44th anniversary, the Minister attended church with the leadership and personnel of St Christopher and Nevis Social Security Board. He stated that the Fund is in good shape and continues to play an important role in improving people's lives and contributing to national development.
