14 active COVID-19 cases in Dominica while 63 recovered: Health Ministry
The health ministry of Dominica declared in their recent statement that there are currently 14 active coronavirus cases in the country. As per the data, there are 77 total confirmed COVID-19 cases on the island nation, while 63 coronavirus patients have been already recovered.

Ministry of Health added that they had tested around 5655 people and out of which 5578 people tested negative for the deadly coronavirus.
The number of people in the GOCD Quarantine is 57. The Health Ministry confirmed that 787 contacts have been cleared and currently there are no contacts under investigation.
The government of Dominica is following all health guidelines to control the spread of the virus on the island. The health ministry continues to advise people to follow respiratory hygiene guidelines that include washing hands, wearing a face mask and utilising an alcohol-based hand sanitiser.
The government have been exercising utmost caution and utilising all its resources to prevent community spread of the contagious disease. Health Ministry has also launched a community screening in several health districts of the country.
Globally, the total number of coronavirus cases crossed 56.6 million, while deaths due to covid reported in the world are 1.39 million. Countries like the USA and India are in the topmost affected by this novel coronavirus, where the cases crossed 10 million.
Despite all these, there is a piece of good news reported related to the vaccine; many countries claimed that they would make the available vaccine end of this year or certainly at the beginning of next year.
