PM Holness: Celebrate Christmas responsibly and limit gatherings

Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness stated that his government is making efforts to control the spread of COVID-19 in the country. He stated that the government has also announced new changes and Disaster Risk Management measures for December 2020 to January 2020.
During a parliament session, Jamaican Prime Minister declared that the COVID-19 guidelines and protocols should be strictly observed during the holiday season to prevent an increase in coronavirus cases.c
PM Holness stated that current time is not normal as it was earlier, so we could not able to celebrate Christmas in the usual way this year.
He noted that schools will remain closed during the holiday season and everyone should be responsible for the next few months starting from upcoming Christmas season.
The Prime Minister appealed to all Jamaicans to celebrate Christmas responsibly and limit celebratory gathering to direct family members.
This kind of dedications and concern for the people make Jamaica PM Andrew Holness, a great leader who is leading the war of COVID 19 as a warrior.
To win this deadly war of COVID 19 pm has suggested some very simple steps to Jamaicans.
He proposed that gathering limit remains at 15 persons in public and private places, he also added that Prohibition of parties and events would remain constant.
Jamaica has also imposed nigh curfew which will start at 10 pm and end at 5 am. However, the movement will only be permitted between 5 am and 7 pm on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Prime Minister Holness further said that, if the coronavirus cases increase more than initial expectations then the Jamaican government would re-evaluate the curfew hours.
