Police stated that Alexandre is charged with involvement in rape, armed robbery, illegal firearm possession, and assassination.Following his arrest, his gang members incited fear and unrest in the community by firing automatic rifles, erecting burning tyre barriers, obstructing traffic, and calling for his release.
In Port-au-third Prince's district, the gangs also went to the streets, forcing drivers and pedestrians to flee the area quickly. In an effort to recover control of the situation, the PNH continued to deploy officers and a number of specialised units on Tuesday.
