Jonel Powell's UAE Trip: Minister visits Expo, St Kitts and Nevis Embassy
Jonel Powell- Minister of Education, Youth, Sport & Culture for St Kitts and Nevis is currently on an official trip to the United Arab Emirates.

During his trip, Powell also visited St Kitts and Nevis Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020.
The Minister said, "It was a humbling privilege to visit the SKN Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020. I was proud to be from SKN as I walked through and saw so many persons from around the world pass through and experience a taste of our twin-island Federation."Powell is making all efforts to meet the major stakeholders of the International Cricket Council (ICC) to bring the Under 19 World Cup to Kitts and Nevis in January.
The country recently hosted the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) amid the COVID-19 pandemic, hitting a milestone of successfully conducting the event as nobody tested positive during the event.
Besides this, the Sports Minister also visited the newly St Kitts and Nevis Embassy in Abu Dhabi and met Justin Hawley, who was recently elevated to the rank of Ambassador. Powell called the Ambassador his "good friend".
