TS Karen hits Caribbean, sea water getting rough

As the Tropical Storm Karen has taken its turn towards the Caribbean, unstable conditions have already started affecting. In Roseau Bay Front of the Caribbean Island Dominica, the waves are lashing more than 7 feet tall and water have started to come out on the streets. As a result of that, the Bay Front area which is generally occupied with car parking had a reduced number of vehicles taking spot there due to the water lashing out on motor vehicles.
Click here to watch the videoThe official meteorology department has also issued a weather forecast stating that the unstable conditions associated with Karen will continue to produce cloudiness, scattered showers, and possible isolated thunderstorms mainly across the central and northern portions of the island chain, including Dominica, during the next 12 to 24 hours. Thereafter, a high-pressure system will gradually rebuild across the area
People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks should continue to exercise caution during the period.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Lorenzo is moving west-northwestward over the Central Tropical Atlantic. Lorenzo is expected to become a hurricane by Wednesday and is currently projected to remain over open water.
Rough seas generated by Karen are expected to persist during the next 12 to 18 with waves peaking between 8.0 to 10.0 feet. A small craft warning remains in effect for above normal seas. All users of the sea, particularly on the west coast, are advised to continue to exercise extreme caution.
