Thief arrested after returning to apologise to the victim in Jamaica
A Thirty-two-year-old man named Richard Scott was charged with housebreaking and larceny after an incident at a house on DeCarteret Road in Mandeville last Friday.
According to police, the complainant left home for work and when she returned, she noticed that a case of deodorant, a cellular phone and $212,000 were missing.
She went to Scott’s room as he stays at her premises for carrying out repairs at her home and there she found the missing items.
She called the police and Scott was taken into custody after he came back to the home for apologising.
Scott’s court date is being decided.
