St Kitts and Nevis: Missing teen found 'alive and well'

A St Kitts teenager who was missing for over a week has been found.

The Sandy Point police station said Ruthlyn Williams is "alive and well" after disappearing on 29 October.

Until her reappearance, the 17-year-old was last seen in the Downing Street area of Sandy Point at around 7.30pm.

"Subsequent to a missing person bulletin being issued by the police, the public showed serious concern for her safe return," a statement from the police said.

"The Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force takes this opportunity to thank all those who assisted the police with this situation."

Earlier this year the federation was rocked by the disappearance of 17-year-old Leanna Napoleon.
