PM Roosevelt Skerrit and Melissa Skerrit share "Easter Greetings"

Prime Minister of Commonwealth of Dominica Dr Roosevelt Skerrit and his wife Melissa-Poppone Skerrit shared Easter greetings to all Dominicans on Sunday.

Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister of Commonwealth of Dominica Dr Roosevelt Skerrit and his wife Melissa-Poppone Skerrit shared Easter greetings to all Dominicans on Sunday.

They both uploaded greetings on their social media accounts with a flyer that had Bible verses written on them.

PM Skerrit wrote,"In this season of rebirth, may you feel your faith renewed and your heart made new with the hope Easter brings."

While Parliament Representative from Roseau Central and wife of PM Skerrit, Melissa- Poppone Skerrit, captioned the photograph, "Whatever lifts your spirits, brings you hope and fills you with the miracle of Easter—that’s what I’m wishing for you."

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Easter celebrations were limited to the personal spaces of people. To keep the "Easter Egg Hunt" more excited, Melissa Skerrit had launched a fest with the Young Labour Organization that targetted at delivery easter bag full of goodies and a doze of easter eggs on doorsteps of constituents of Roseau Central.

Explaining the ritual of "Easter day Egg Hunt" at her home, Melissa Skerrit stated that she always aims at making the hunt special for her kids and often leaves eggs in different parts of the house, including under the bed, in the garden, kitchen. She stated that the kids love the "easter egg hunt" and enjoy looking around the house with enormous excitement.
