The Dominica Calypso Association is all set to host the Calypso Semi Finals 2024 on January 27 at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium, Carnival City (Roseau). This will be a fun-filled event offering visitors an experience to immerse into the world of Calypso.The event will be held under the theme, 'Calypso is Mass, Social Commentary, and Class'. It will be open for the general public appearance from 8:30 PM onwards, with tickets on sale as follows:Regular $50ECGate: $60ECLimited seating $70ECStreaming $20USDThe Festival Committee launched the Dominica Calypso 's official poster on Friday and invited and encouraged the communities across the Caribbean region to get their slots as early as possible. The Committee also urged the people to participate in the event to experience an unforgettable experience. "Join the 20 sensational artists who hit the stage, bringing the Caribbean vibes to life. Don't miss out on the electrifying energy and unforgettable performances! Like, share, and mark your calendar for this epic celebration of local talent. Let's make it a night to remember," it added. Further, the event will be hosted under the patronage of Lady Star, Super International MC, with an exceptional guest performance by one and only King Trilla G. Further, the event will comprise about 20 sensational Calypsonians from Joy to De Oracle, who will set the stage on fire and bring Caribbean vibes into the stage.
