Nevis: Culturama 50 is all set to launch with huge celebrations tomorrow

St. Kitts and Nevis: The Nevis Tourism Authority is all set to launch the Nevis Culturama Festival 2024, aka Culturama 50, on Friday, April 26, with a mini parade through Charlestown at 5 p.m. The parade will be followed by a gathering at the Charlestown Waterfront at 6 p.m. The Culturama 50 will be held from July 25 to August 6 with preliminary activities beginning as early as July 6. The month long celebration will comprise of a number of exciting events and activities which will keep the visitors engaged and involved in everything local. The grand launch event will feature several live performances by the Odisi Band, Small Axe Band, Sugar Hill String Band, Honey Bees String Band, Rhythms of the Arts Dance Ensemble, and DJ Zimba. There will also be various cultural performances, a medley of Kaiso and Soca performances, and an NCD Steel Orchestra. The organisers of the event said that a special appearance will be given by the contestants of the White Sands Swimsuit. Also, the senior pageant contestants will be revealed during the Culturama 50 Launch. While inviting the citizens to the launch of the most anticipated festival's launch, the Nevis Culturama Festival organizers said, "It's time to kick off Culturama 50 with a Bang. In addition to this, on April 27, the first Action Corner event of Culturama 50 will take place. The event will comprise of huge celebrations with electrifying performances by DJ Selector Purple, the Smooth Vibes Band, and Kollision Band. This ultimate beach party experience at Pinney's Beach will begin at 5 pm.
