Marsha Henderson promotes St Kitts and Nevis on American Talk Show
During the show, she talked about the ongoing winter promotion being offered by the island. She said that various properties on the island are participating in this promotion.

The Minister of Tourism of St Kitts and Nevis Marsha Henderson, promoted the island to an international audience as she came live on PIX11's talk show New York Living TV on Monday. She promoted the island to an international audience and shared valuable insights on the Federation.
During the show, she talked about the ongoing winter promotion being offered by the twin-islands. Henderson added that various properties on the island are participating in this promotion.According to the Minister, the participating properties range from luxury to affordable accommodations so that every tourist can benefit from Vacation Promotions being offered now.
The Minister also mentioned that for the Winter Special, the properties are offering their guests to stay some nights free of cost if they book for seven nights straight. "A number of the properties have similar promotions where you pay for the seven, you stay for seven nights, and you only end up paying for five nights," outlined Marsha Henderson.The hosts of the New York Living on PIX11 said that it is easier for them to travel to St Kitts from New York, to which Henderson replied, "Yes, Thanks to Jetblue." She added that the direct flights from John F Kennedy Airport to St Kitts began in November 2023, which flies three times a week."
"We have direct flights into Miami twice daily, and we also have direct flights into, I think it's the UK into LaGuardia," highlighted the Minister.While telling what sets St Kitts apart in terms of being a travel destination, she said, "We do have the sun, we have the sand, and we have the ocean, but we encourage our visitors to immerse themselves in our destination, where you can come and be a part of the destination."
She noted that visitors can indulge in the rainforest experience or hike the 18 miles of mountain range stretching from Mount Liamuiga.Telling the unique feature of the island, Minister Henderson said, "But what is unique for St Kitts is that we're positioned in between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, so we have the best the amazing views from either side."
In addition to this, St Kitts also boasts a number of eco-adventures, and the island is pursuing a sustainable island state agenda. All the practices within the industry partners and stakeholders are based on sustainability.The Minister said that sustainability is a way of living in St Kitts, which is why even the properties are following it. While citing an example, she said that the Sunset Reef Hotel has the best solar power and advanced technology to power the property.
She also highlighted the farm to table experience and said, "We believe in eating what we grow. So you can go down to Arthur's Restaurant and be a part of the farm to table experience."Henderson said that she also encourages the industry partners to save on plastic while embarking on coastline initiatives.

Marsha Henderson explained that program and said visitors can come to St Kitts and can learn the technical side of the history of rum.
"So after sugar in Saint Kitts, we ventured into rum production. And we do have some remains of the first-ever distillery in the region down at Wingfield Estate," she added.Moreover, the Minister said that the island is also home to Old Road Rum where types of rum are manufactured. Visitors can also embark on a rum beach during which they will also visit the beach and will be able to see Nevis across from the ocean. Apart from this, people can also tour the ruins where they can see the distillery and understand how rum is made.
