St Vincent and the Grenadines: The dead body of a female doctor, said to be in her 70s, was found in the waters of Friendship Beach in Bequia. The discovery was made on Wednesday morning by a passerby.
According to the information, the woman has been identified as a medical doctor, but the officials have not yet revealed any name of the victim.
A source has revealed that the woman went for an early morning swim, following which she may have run into medical issues, resulting in her collapsing in the waters on the beach.
It is being said that the body was seen by a local fisherman who reported to the police officials that a lady was lying motionless face down in the waters.
In addition to this, the police officials found that the medical doctor was living in an apartment near Friendship Beach. The Coast Guard retrieved the body and took it to a hospital in Kingstown.
