Basseterre: Political Leader of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party, Dr Denzil Douglas, cleared the air on his leaked voice note, where he was addressing the members and supporters of the party about the nomination step of the potential candidate for the position of a national political Leader in the forthcoming party conference on November 28, 2021.

He said that he was advising the comrades to consider nominating comrade Congress Maynard, who is one among three comrades who have expressed their interest in the post of national party leader of the Labour Party. He added that the nomination is a step in the election process and the message was intended to ensure that all three persons contest the election for that position.
