These films will be showcased to the audience to ignite passion in them and evoke aspirations for a better future. This activity will take place at the beautiful open-air venues and immerse the visitors in fun parties, connecting exciting people, along with the best theatrical films. Since the release of the official announcement about this versatile Film Carnival in the past week, the BIFF Committee has featured various famous filmmakers who have significantly impacted the global film industry. These Prominent filmmakers include Joan Joan, Julia Schönstädt, and Jimmy (John) Thaiday. Earlier on Saturday, the committee also launched the official schedule for this festive week and the opening of tickets via all major social media handles. For the tickets, interested applicants book their spaces through engaging at their official sites. As per the Schedule, these film screenings, workshops and fun-filled sessions will be held each day at diversified venues, times and packages from Jan 17 to 21.Here is the Complete Schedule for the 8th Barbados Independent Film Festival :

- Thursday, Jan 18, 2024- Cine Cuisine- Haynes Market St Peter from 5 PM onwards, Just Beneath the Surface (Aus) and Common Ground (USA).
- Thursday, Jan 18, 2024- Barbados Museum- Garrison St Michael from 6 PM onwards, Why Kites Fly and Opal France/Martinique (Animation).
- Friday, Jan 19, 2024- The Pink Church, next to Local & co, Speightstown, from 2 PM onwards, Mightin Afrin: in the time of floods (2023) (Greece).
- Saturday, Jan 20, 2024- Parachute Studios, Warrens, 10 AM- Lighting/Grip Workshop, 1 PM Exploring Method Acting Workshop and 4 PM Actors Panel.
- Saturday, Jan 20, 2024- The Pink Church, next to Local & co, Speightstown, from 11 AM onwards, Into Zephyr (Iran) and A Revolution on Canvas (USA).
