Armed robbery leads to death in St Lucia

Police in St Lucia are investigating an armed robbery that left one man dead on Thursday night.
The victim has not been named.
Officers from the criminal investigations department were called out to San de Fay in Sarrot, Castries, at around 8.20pm on 16 November.
When they arrived, they were informed that two masked men had fled the scene after robbing a man at gunpoint.
Hours later, at around 1.15am on Friday, 17 November, a man’s body was discovered near the the San de Fay main road.
A post mortem is yet to be completed.
The latest murder is St Lucia’s 53rd of 2017.
