Antigua-Barbuda: Body discovered inside burnt vehicle

A police investigation has been launched following the discovery of a charred body in the Yepton area.

Police stumbled across the corpse, which was inside a burnt van, during routine patrols.

"The body was found on the front passenger seat. A medical doctor arrived on the scene shortly after 3am and pronounced the body dead," the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda said in statement.

"Further investigations are currently ongoing into the matter."
