One of the worlds largest cruise ships, Wonder of the Seas, is 95% constructed, the Royal Caribbean declared in a statement. Once completed, the cruise ship will become one of the biggest cruise ships in the world, leaving behind its sister Symphony of the Seas. As per reports, the Wonder of the Seas will start its sailing adventures in 2022. The massive Oasis-class cruise ship is currently being constructed at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. The cruise ship's first piece of steel was cut in April 2019, and it has come together block by block. Officials said the current work on the ship is focusing on the interiors, outfitting of the promenade, bars lounges, restaurants bars and others. Royal Caribbean, in its latest update, said that the cruise ship would have three waterslides and ultimate Absyss 10-storey slide, the work of which is already ongoing. Furthermore, RC said the remaining 5% of the work is most complicated and challenging. The aim is to make the Wonder of the Seas ready for passengers by March 2022.  The massive cruise ship will offer cruises from Shanghai, Hong Kong, on four to nine-night itineraries. As per the Royal Caribbean, the vessel will homeport in Shanghai and include calls to Japan from March to November.  Besides this, other cruise call locations include Ishigaki, Kagoshima, Okinawa, Fukuoka, Mount Fuji, Kumamoto, Tokyo, Ishigaki, Kagoshima and Miyazaki.  Currently, Symphony of the Seas is the world's largest cruise ship weighing 228,081 gross tons. The Wonder of the Seas will surpass it by being 236,857 gross tons and have a passenger guest capacity of 5,734 at double occupancy with additional 2,300 crew members.  The majority of the top 10 cruise ships are owned by the Royal Caribbean International. Its fleet includes Symphony of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas. The only other cruise line with more than one vessel in the top ten category is the MSC Cruises, the world's fastest-growing cruise line.
