Alexis Jeffers handover cheques to support medical expense of two individuals
Parliament Representative of Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) Alexis Jeffers and other party members organized a small handover ceremony

The cheques were delivered on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Franklyn Browne Community Center to Fitzroy Warner and Lester Pemberton.
Alexis Jeffers stated that these cheques represent the proceeds from the activity held on Whit Monday in the heart of Brick Kiln to raise funds to assist them with their medical expenses. The total amount raised was EC$14,897.44 which was shared equally between both Fitzroy and Lester.
"I want to once again thank the organizers namely Amoy Nisbett and Jamal Daniel who worked along with me to put this event together. Most importantly I want to thank all who made contributions of drinks, food, music, tents, stage, transportation etc," added Jeffers.
Additionally, he thanked and appreciated all who served in the bar and food stalls.
"Your hard work and dedication was a demonstration of true community spirit consistent with what we have always had in Brick Kiln Village. To all those who came from all parts of Nevis and St Kitts to show your support, I say thank you," stated Jeffers.
Furthermore, he stated that a public service announcement will be done this upcoming week to recognize all who played a part in making this event a tremendous success.Author Profile
