ABHTI launches “Choose ABHTI” campaign, aims at excelling leadership skills
The Antigua and Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute (ABHTI) has introduced a campaign under the name “Choose ABHTI.”

Antigua and Barbuda: The Antigua and Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute (ABHTI) has introduced a campaign under the name “Choose ABHTI.” This initiative by the ABHTI focuses on the industry professionals who are excelling in the leadership positions within the hospitality and tourism sector.
The registrations for the “Choose ABHTI” campaign will commence from June 1, 2024 and the new academic year will begin in September 2024 where the institute will celebrate the accomplishments of some of its alumni. This outlines the promising future that awaits new students.
The Antigua and Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute through such initiatives is working towards nurturing talent and equipping students with the skills that are required to thrive in the industry. The institute offers four associate degree programmes that include-
- Culinary Arts
- Food and Beverage Management
- Hospitality Management, and
- Tourism Management
Considerably, the institute also offers short courses and two certificate programmes; Basic Cookery and Front Office and Restaurant Operations. And, the students who wish to be the part of the institute can register themselves.
The registration forms can be obtained from the institution itself that is from Dutchman’s Bay, Coolidge. Also, it can be collected from the Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association.
The forms are available through online mode as well, and are available at the ABHTI’s official website. All the details of entry requirements are detailed on the application forms so the process can be followed smoothly.
The institute as well have introduced the campaign video that has featured several of the ABHTI alumni and professionals who have made great contributions towards the development of the tourism industry.

- Eustace Cabral, Sous Chef at Jumby Bay Island
- Patel Phillips, Assistant Head of Food and Beverage at Jumby Bay Island
- Ryncia Henry, Director of Rooms at Rosewood Miramar Beach
