Twitter officially ban all political advertisements

Putting pressure on Facebook to go with the same pattern, Twitter has formally restricted a wide range of political advertisements from its foundation, weeks after CEO Jack Dorsey declared that the small scale blogging website would never again permit those promotions.

No political substance will be advanced from competitors, gatherings, governments or authorities, open records boards of trustees (PACs) and specific political non-benefit meetings.

"Twitter all-inclusive restricts the advancement of political content. We have settled on this choice depends on our conviction that political message reach ought to be earned, not purchased," the small scale blogging stage said on Friday.
