China approves requests to develop sports tourism in Roseau: Melissa Skerrit
Melissa Skerrit- wife of Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and parliament representative from Roseau Central visited the Chinese Embassy on Wednesday.

During her visit, Chinese Ambassador Lin Xianjiang stated that the People's Republic of China approved requests for the further development of sports tourism in Roseau.
Melissa Skerrit stated that she is extremely happy with the great plans that are coming ahead for Roseau.
"My birthday brought along blessings for my people of Roseau Central. During my visit to the Chinese Embassy, I was informed that the Government of the People's Republic of China has approved requests for the further development of sport tourism in the city. I am excited about the great plans to come," wrote Melissa Skerrit.Melissa Skerrit celebrated her birthday on 4 May, and thanked every person for their blessings.
"I am so appreciative of each and every one of you for your lovely birthday wishes. To the businesses which also extended their kind regards, I am humbled,"

She also shared a video collage of her birthday celebrations, where she could be celebrating the day with her children and husband (Prime Minister of Dominica Dr Roosevelt Skerrit).
