He addressed the camera, saying they planned to "assassinate the Queen" as part of a "vengeance" operation.

Following the arrest of a 19-year-old male from Southampton, Scotland Yard announced that investigators were "assessing the contents of the video."

The identity of the person in the video was not revealed by the police spokeswoman. Buckingham Palace has likewise been silent on the matter.

After being discovered in the castle grounds, a 19-year-old suspect was sectioned under the Mental Health Act.

On Christmas Day, he was arrested at 08:30 GMT on suspicion of breaching or trespassing a protected site and possessing an offensive weapon.

The Queen was in Windsor Castle for Christmas, and the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as the Earl and Countess of Wessex, we're expected to join her for lunch.
