UPDATE: Marigot shooting victim dies in St Lucia hospital
Incident is the 23rd murder in St Lucia this year
The man shot in Marigot in the early hours of Sunday has died.
The victim – named locally as Crishna Chester Wilson – died yesterday afternoon at Victoria Hospital.
He has been shot at around 1.30am outside a bar in Marigot. He was taken, alive but unconscious, to the hospital where he was placed in intensive care.
According to reports, two masked gunmen opened fire before fleeing the scene.
Police are investigating possible motives and have asked anyone with information to come forward.
