Boutique film & television production company MSR Media has begun shooting their upcoming movie in St Kitts and Nevis. It will be their fourth film to be shot in the country.
Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, also visited the set of the film “Christmas in the Caribbean”. He said the shooting in Nevis continues to chart its economic recoveryThe movie titled "Christmas in the Caribbean" stars English actress Elizabeth Hurley as their main cast and is directed by Philippe Martinez. The cast also includes Nathalie Cox, Caroline Quentin, Edoardo Costa, Hadar Cats, Downtown Julie Brown and Rafael Martinez.
Hurley will be playing the lead role named "Rachel", a hopeless romantic who flees from the Altar on her wedding day.
After running away from the wedding day, Rachel and her two bridesmaids come to the island, not letting her Christmas and honeymoon go to waste. A new love twist awaits Rachel as she lands on the island.Elizabeth Hurley said she is excited to shoot a movie in the Caribbean after 18 harsh months of lockdown in the UK. She said the movie will make everyone laugh.
Christmas in the Caribbean will be MSR media's fourth movie to be shot in St Kitts and Nevis. Earlier, they have completed the shooting of “A Week in Paradise,” starring Malin Åkerman, Connie Nielse, “Assailant,” directed by Tom Paton and starring Poppy Delevingne and the comedy feature film “One Year Off,” also directed by Martinez.
