Mark Brantley, Shawn Richards supports rescheduling of tripartite meeting as honor to Vance Amory
Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley and Deputy Prime Minister Shawn Richards suggested the delay of the tripartite meeting of heads of political parties.

Brantley stated that the meeting was scheduled for Monday; however, it has been rescheduled for Wednesday as a mark of respect to Vance Amory, who was the founding member of Team Unity.
"Due to the sudden demise of His Excellency Vance Amory, former Cabinet colleague and former Premier of Nevis, we spoke with the Honorable Prime Minister that it would be right to postpone the tripartite meeting of heads of political parties planned for today until Wednesday of this week as a mark of honor to HE Vance Amory, a founding member of Team Unity," wrote Brantley on Facebook.Brantley had earlier stated, while conveying condolences said, that the country lost an "Iconic Nevisian" who always stood for the people of the wider Federation.
Furthermore, he added that the People's Action Movement and the Concerned Citizens Movement remain determined to the founding principles of Team Unity and a better St Kitts and Nevis for all.
Vance Amory was a founding member of the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) and Team Unity. He passed away on Saturday morning in London due to some prolonged illness. Following his passing, a national mourning period will also be observed, and the ambassador would be accorded a state funeral, details of which are yet to be revealed.Amory's daughter Aden also shared a heartfelt message on Monday morning, stating that she is in shock and unable to believe that her father is no longer alive.
She also shared various memories of her father and said he was always there to guide both daughters in their life.
