CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK: 10-MONTH-OLD TESTS POSITIVE IN KARNATAKA

A 10-month-old infant from a village in Dakshina Kannada district has tested high quality for COVID-19, health officials said.
The infant became admitted to a non-public health centre in Mangaluru on March 23 with excessive fever and acute breathing illness.
The throat swab, which became sent to the lab for trying out on March 24, tested high-quality, a launch from district health officer Ramachandra Bayari stated on Friday.
The little one is now in stable condition, the press released stated.
The village wherein the infant lives have been quarantined as a precautionary degree, and no person is being allowed to go into or go away the village.
The procedure of tracing the source of the contract is on, the release said.
The infant's mother and grandmother have been quarantined in a clinic, and other circles of relatives members had been asked to stay in domestic quarantine.
