PM Harris: "Budget 2022 is critical tool for delivering the safer, stronger, future"
PM Harris will present the national budget 2022 of the Federation soon with a vision to bounce back from the ravages of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Citing the International Monetary Fund (IMF) projection of 2022 to be a very high economic growth for the Federation, PM said that the budget would be delivered against the backdrop of signs of an emergency recovery.
PM further added that the budget 2022 would be one crucial instrument that will propel the growth and keep the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis moving in the right direction with visible enhancements in citizens and residents’ standard of living, which includes higher incomes, more jobs, more opportunities and better homes. St Kitts and Nevis is already realizing positive results from the vital sectors of the economy such as fisheries, agriculture, manufacturing, tourism and construction. Prime Minister said, “Our budget will be decisive in our efforts to protect the poor and vulnerable, consolidate our gains in agriculture, fisheries, tourism, manufacturing and construction, to name a few.” Emphasising this, PM said that it would also advance the government's efforts in the new sectors such as medical cannabis and entertainment. It will also provide for programs and capital projects that will lead to more incomes, higher job opportunities as well as better homes for people of the Federation.In a way or another, these jobs will provide hope and more opportunities for the young individuals in the country to reach their full potential in St Kitts and Nevis. “This is why the upcoming budget is so important.”
Prime Minister outlined that the upcoming budget 2022 will lead St Kitts and Nevis out of the dark shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic.
