The Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Terrance Drew, has clarified all the misleading claims being spread against him regarding his name being in the RICO lawsuit filed in the US Federal Court related to CBI underselling.

He made a bold statement and made it very clear that no such lawsuit has been filed against him in her personal or professional capacity, and he has not been named in any such lawsuit in the US.

While stating the facts, Dr. Drew emphasized that it was under his leadership that Citizenship by Investment underselling was outlawed in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The Prime Minister is focusing on furthering the good governance agenda and also clarifying another claim that exists in the minds of citizens. This claim asks for a judicial review that identifies the Minister of National Security in which capacity Dr. Drew currently serves. It is to be noted that a claim for judicial review is recognized as a legal proceeding where the court can review the administrative actions of a government.

PM Terrance Drew noted that it is, therefore, his legal responsibility as the Minister of National Security to address the local judicial review claim.

He highlighted that this judicial review matter is an entirely separate legal proceeding from the RICO lawsuit in the US court, and it does not allege any misconduct, impropriety, or corruption on his part.

As the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, he said that he will continue to lead with integrity and dignity and in keeping with the good governance agenda of this Labour Administration.

He, therefore, by words and example, strongly called upon all Ministers serving in any administration and also all government officials and civil servants to discharge the duties entrusted to them with integrity in order to keep with the good governance agenda of his administration.
