As a result, the cyclist received injuries on his body. He was taken to Suddie Public Hospital, where he was seen and examined by a doctor on duty and admitted as a patient.
Guyana is recording a record high in road accidents; daily, people are getting wounded or losing their lives to the fatal road accidents caused by overspeeding. There are minimum overspeeding laws to protect these individuals, and traffic police barely keep an eye on those who drive at extreme speed.
In just last one week, more than ten such accidents took place in the country, leaving people numb and demanding stricter traffic laws to save precious lives.
