Latest tropical storm forms over the Atlantic
'Beryl' is not expected to cause any serious issues

A tropical depression has this afternoon strengthened into a tropical storm, according to the Miami-based National Hurricane Center.
As of early afternoon on Thursday, 5 July, Tropical Storm Beryl was located about 1,330 miles east-southeast of the Lesser Antilles.
It had winds of 40mph and was moving westwards at 16mph.
It is expected to dissipate before reaching the Lesser Antilles, however. Reliable meteorological sources have confirmed to WIC News that a number of factors should cause a weakening in the system.The Caribbean is on high alert after the Atlantic hurricane season in 2017, which proved to be a particularly devastating period.
Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria rocked the region, causing death and carnage in September.
