Director of the Dominica Social Security, Janice Jean Jacques-Thomas reported that her association is getting the endorsement of plans to give impermanent joblessness advantages to people whose employments were influenced because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The proposition which was submitted to the Government for endorsement thought about suggestions from the International Labor Organization, actuarial firm Moreau Sheppell and local private area associations, for example, the Dominica Employers Federation, Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association, Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce were counselled.
