Condor Airlines announces resumption of services to Antigua for winter season

Condor Airlines is all set to resume its services to Antigua and Barbuda. This weekly service from Frankfurt will begin on November 5, 2024 and will continue until May 6, 2025.

According to the information, the flights can be booked online from March 7 onwards. The Tourism officials of the twin island nation are presently in Germany to participate in the tourism trade fair ‘ITB’ during which they had talks with the Condor and finalised the resumption of the services.

He said that the team appreciates the efforts of the partners with them at ITB including the Royalton and Caribbean Beach Cottage and Elite Island Resorts which are representing the 10 properties in Antigua and said that with a collaborated effort and robust collaborations, the team will make the renewal of the flight a huge success.

James also said that the service will end after Sailing Week, hence providing a seamless departure for the European sailors.

The Tourism Officials are also anticipating that this new longer flight schedule will ensure more German participation in the signature yachting event of Antigua and Barbuda.

In addition to this, the Condor Airlines will be using their brand new A330-900 aircraft which will have 27 rotations tagged with Punta Cana in Dominican Republic. The aircraft can hold around 310 passengers with 30 business class seats as well as 64 premium economy seats.

The Tourism Authority is also planning immediate robust sales and marketing activities which will aim to educate the trade and further build awareness regarding the flight so that citizens can plan ahead of their winter vacations.
