Shocking: 24-year-old man rapes his own mother in Guyana

The Guyana police remanded a man to jail for reportedly raping his mother. The incident left everyone stunned by the incident. As per reports, the accused has been identified as a resident of West Bank Demerara.

Police stated that the 26-year-old man from West Bank Demerara reportedly raped his 61-year-old mother on Saturday, 2nd October 2021. The accused was captured soon after the police lodged a complaint against him.

The accused appeared before Magistrate Alicia George at Wales Magistrate court, where the charge was read to him. He was not required to plea. As such, he was remanded to prison, and the matter was adjourned to 11th November 2021 for statement.

The shocking event left every shocked, and people are demanding the police to reveal the real identity of the accused. Many people went on social media, asking police to reveal the real name and photos of the man who did the heinous act.

Some are also demanding the police to take the accused to some psychological therapist as no normal person would do such a thing to their biological parent.
