VIDEO: $3 million facelift for Charles Avenue in Dominica
Project financed by the Highway Maintenance Levy
The government of Dominica has today signed a contract with Offshore Civil and Marine Incorporated for the rehabilitation of Charles Avenue in the outskirts of Roseau.
The value of the contract is $3.05 million (US$1.13 million).
Over 500 metres of road and drainage will be replaced from the roundabout near to the Princess Margaret Hospital and the intersection with the West Coast Road near AID Bank.
New sidewalks and a retaining wall are included in this project. The project is financed via money collected via the Highway Maintenance Levy.
