PM Roosevelt Skerrit extend condolences as sports commentator Joseph Thomas passed away
Prime Minister of Dominica Dr Roosevelt Skerrit extended condolences to the family of Joseph Thomas former sports commentator.

Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister of Dominica Dr Roosevelt Skerrit extended condolences to the family of Joseph Thomas; Mr died at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital on Tuesday morning.
Thomas, famously known as "Joe T", was a former Sports Commentator and Sports Administrator who suffered a stroke and died during treatment at the hospital.
"On behalf of my family, I extend deepest condolences to the children and extended family of the late Mr. Joseph Thomas, former Sports Commentator and Sports Administrator." wrote PM Skerrit
PM Shared a long post on his Facebook account where he said that Joe T was a true friend of the Dominica Labour Party, which I have the honour to lead.
PM Said Thomas will be remembered for his exceptional contribution to sports commentary, in particular cricket, for over 50 years.
"His standing in the region as a respected cricket commentator brought us great pride. In later years, he was assigned the task of formulating a Sports Policy for Dominica's Sports Council and was Stadium Manager at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium." wrote PM Skerrit.
Skerrit added, "We honour his legacy as a Sports Commentator extraordinaire, May He Rest in Eternal Peace, May God bless his family and all bereaved."
The entire country is mourning the passing of their favourite commentator, who made their cricket matches even more special with his background anchoring.
