A twelve-year old gone missing in Jamaica, high-alert issued
A 12-year-old girl has gone missing in Jamaica. Parents reported that their daughter Renequa Rainford had not returned home since May 6, 2021.

"She is of brown complexion, medium build, and about 134 centimetres (4 feet 5 inches) tall," told her parents to the police.
A high alert has been issued by Jamaican authorities, and police have initiated operations to find the girl.Authorities have asked people to contact the Bridgeport Police at 876-988-2697, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station for any possible leads on the missing incident.Such incidents of children going missing a very common in Jamaica. A total of 1,512 kids were recorded missing in 2018, which is the lowest figure since the founding of the Ananda Alert system in 2009. In 2017, a total of 1,674 kids were recorded missing, while 1,476 were returned. As per authorities, there is a 90 per cent return/recovery rate of missing children in Jamaica.Author Profile
