St Kitts and Nevis: Police find weed and bulletproof vest
Discovered in Phillips village home
Two people have been taken into custody in St Kitts and Nevis after police officers searched a home in Phillips.
The pair, who have not been named, are described by sources as one person who lives in the property and another who was working on the roof.
Officers discovered a “vegetable material” that is suspected to be cannabis, police said.
A bulletproof vest was also found.
Both men were said to be helping with the investigation.
The find came as a result of a number of searches carried out by the anti-gang task force on Wednesday evening.
Charges are expected to be laid shortly and police investigations into the matter are continuing.
