Saint Lucia: Cooking Gas price declines by $5.67, check latest prices here
According to the information, as effective from June 17, the price of the 100 pound cylinder has witnessed a drop of $5.67, which comes as a major relief for the citizens of the island nation.

Saint Lucia: The retail cost of the 100 pound liquified petroleum gas (LPG), commonly known as cooking gas has dropped significantly in Saint Lucia. The 45.36 kg cylinder declined from $267.45 to $261.78 per cylinder.
According to the information, as effective from June 17, the price of the 100 pound cylinder has witnessed a drop of $5.67, which comes as a major relief for the citizens of the island nation.
It was also reported that the Government of Saint Lucia is continuing to subsidize the price of the LPG 20-pound gas cylinders by $16.36 per cylinder while the LPG 22-pound gas cylinders by $17.99 per cylinder.
The Government further added that in keeping with changes in international oil prices and the application of the Government of the modified market pass-through petroleum pricing mechanism, the retail prices of gasoline, kerosene, diesel as well as LPG 20 pound and 22 pound cylinders remain unchanged.
The price of gasoline stays the same as earlier at $16.50 per imperial gallon, cost of diesel is also unchanged at $3.63 per litre or $16.50 per imperial gallon. Meanwhile, the cost of Kerosene is the same as $2.57 per litre or $11.69 per imperial gallon.
In addition to this, the 20 pound cylinder weighing 9.07 kg remains the same at $36.00 per cylinder and the cost of 22 pound cylinder weighing 9.98 kg is also the same with the price being $39.60 per cylinder.
The Government announced that the next fuel price adjustment will take place on July 28, 2024.
As the prices were announced, they came as a relief for the citizens with a decrease in cooking gas and no additions in any commodity of fuel products in Saint Lucia.
The Government is committed to putting as little burden as possible on the citizens so that they don’t feel that the cost of living is very high in the country.
