Police investigating armed attack on St Kitts-Nevis residence

Police are carrying out investigations into an armed attack on a residence in Dieppe Bay.
Police said no one was injured in the armed attack on the home of Curtis Mitchell on Tuesday night.
"Police responded to a report of gunshots being fired in the Dieppe Bay area about 11:45 p.m. last night (Tuesday). Investigations so far have revealed that gunshots were fired into the house by an unknown assailant. The house was occupied at the time but no one was injured during the incident," a police statement said Wednesday.
Police said its Crime Scene Unit visited and processed the scene and several items of evidential value were taken into Police custody.
"The Police are making an appeal to anyone who might have any information in relation to this incident to call the Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) at 467-1887, 467-1888, or 662-3468 or their nearest Police Station. Investigations into the matter are ongoing," the police said.
