PM Skerrit wishes Trump, Melania speedy recovery from COVID-19
The Prime Minister of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit wished for the speedy and full recovery of the US President Donald Trump and his wife, First Lady Melania Trump.

The Prime Minister of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit wished for the speedy and full recovery of the US President Donald Trump and his wife, First Lady Melania Trump.

He said that he also wants to send his best wishes to the Members of Congress, and the members of the inner team of the US President as the coronavirus have also afflicted them in recent days.
Prime Minister Skerrit said that this sobering news reminds us of our vulnerabilities and of the need for everyone to continue our vigilance and discipline, as we fight against this pandemic.
He said that this year has been a difficult time for the whole world community and it is a reality brought into sharp focus this past week when it was reported that over 1 million people had lost their lives because of the COVID-19 disease.
He concluded his statement which he gave through a press release, by saying that let us all pray that God continues to deliver comfort to the many families around the world which have been affected by the pandemic.
It is noteworthy that the news had come this week that President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump were being diagnosed with COVID-19 and the US President himself announced this by a tweet on this Twitter account.
He had said in his tweet that he and his wife had tested positive for COVID-19 together and that they would begin quarantine and recovery process immediately.
The President had concluded his tweet by saying that he and his wife, both would get through this, together.
