Passenger dies in Caribbean Airlines flight from Jamaica to Barbados
Caribbean Airlines confirmed that a passenger had died on its flight from Jamaica to Barbados on Thursday after he went to bathroom.

Barbados: State-owned Caribbean Airlines (CAL) confirmed that a passenger had died on its flight from Jamaica to Barbados on Thursday and that the crew had followed all relevant operating procedures.
The airline did not provide many details about the incident, but other passengers on the mid-morning flight told local media that the passenger, aged between 35 and 45, was discovered unconscious in the plane's bathroom after flight attendants found that he was taking too long to be there.A doctor who was among the passengers on the flight helped try to revive the man.
“There was a medical emergency. The crew followed all the pertinent operating procedures but unfortunately, the passenger passed away, CAL extends its condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased ”, said the airline.On Thursday, CAL announced the reintroduction of its service between Fort Lauderdale and Kingston, Jamaica and Port of Spain, Trinidad and Fort Lauderdale.
CAL said that starting December 7, customers can fly twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays between Kingston and Fort Lauderdale and that “these services will continue beyond the peak holiday period to provide better connectivity between the two cities. "In addition, from December 12, 2021 to January 10, 2022, the airline will operate seasonal service twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays between Port of Spain, Trinidad and Fort Lauderdale," the airline said, adding that through the airline's website, customers can check entry requirements and other important travel information for any destination, as well as schedule appointments for COVID-19 testing.“Customers are asked to keep in mind that there are travel safety protocols, including the mandatory use of face masks during check-in, during boarding and during the flight,” CAL added.
