Nickese Morancie unveiled as #2 contestant for Miss Dominica 2024

The Dominica Festivals Committee was delighted to announce the second contestant of Miss Dominica 2024 - Nickese Morancie. She will be representing the cultural village of Dublanc.
The prestigious pageant, Miss Dominica 2024, will be held on February 8 at the Carnival City (Windsor Park Sports Stadium, Forecourt).
A competition of beauty, grace, and intelligence - the Miss Dominica pageant is a show to remember.It is to be noted that yesterday, Nickese Moranice and other contestants of the pageant spent the afternoon touring the magnificent AIDA Perla cruise ship as they visited the beautiful island.
"It was heartwarming to be welcomed by the captain and crew with open arms," said Nickese Morancie.

The 21-year-old Miss Nickese Morancie was raised in the community of Dublanc. A community filled with talent, prominent in sports and rooted in culture.
She is a simple girl with big dreams and is making her mark in society through volunteerism and community service, as well as engaging in youth empowerment.While introducing herself, the young female said, "The public may know me as Miss Wob Dwiyet 2022, but to others, I'm "Shadow"; a familiar face, a young woman who enjoys all that nature has to offer."
She has a deep love of nature, as well as growing up in a community where people make immense use of natural resources such as the soil, river and sea has inspired her platform, which is the "preservation, conservation and promotion of the natural environment and wildlife."
She said that the carnival is a time of celebration and liberation and asked everyone to remain vigilant and have fun as one creates once-in-a-lifetime memories."Also, please remember to place your trash into designated trash bins," highlighted Nickese Morancie.
