Grenada: St Patrick resident hit with multiple sex charges
All of the alleged victims were underage
A resident of St Patrick in Grenada has been accused of committing a string of sexual offences.
All of the charges relate to underage victims
Lloyd Roberts, 61 and of La Taste, appeared at the Grenville Magistrate’s Court on Friday (29 June).
Sauteurs police have charged him with with one count of indecent assault, one count of sexual intercourse with a person aged under 13, two counts of rape and five counts of sexual intercourse with a female between the ages of 13 and 16.
He is due to appear at Sauteurs Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 3 July.
At the end of last year Prime Minister Keith Mitchell pledged that his government would do more to fight against child sexual abuse.Author Profile
