Diesel, Kerosene, Cooking Gas see modest hikes, Gasoline drops by $0.35 in Jamaica
All these products have witnessed a slight increase in prices which is less than even one dollar. On the other hand, the cost of gasoline has dropped slightly by $0.35.

Jamaica: The Government of Jamaica has released the new fuel product prices which came into effect in the country from today onwards. This time, the consumers are feeling a little burdened with an increase in the cost of Diesel, Kerosene and Cooking Gas.
All these products have witnessed a slight increase in prices which is less than even one dollar. On the other hand, the cost of gasoline has dropped slightly by $0.35.
The motorists will have to pay slightly less for gas when they go to the pumps on Thursday.
The prices which were officially announced by the state-owned oil refinery, Petrojam, said that Gasoline E-10 87 will be moving down by $0.35 with the new price now standing at $171.25 per litre while a litre of E10 90 gas will also go down by the same amount and the new price of the product now stands at $178.99.
Meanwhile, the automotive diesel oil has witnessed a minor raise of $0.52 per litre to sell for $171.45 while the ultra low sulphur diesel will be sold for $178.49 per litre following an increase of $0.47.
The cost of Kerosene has also increased by $0.95, with the new price now standing at $169.56. In the meantime, Petrojam reported that the propane cooking gas has gone up by $0.70 and will be sold for $68.21. On the other hand, butane cooking gas will increase by $0.50 with the new price being $75.24 per litre.
The company announced that the retailers will add their mark ups to the announced prices and will strictly adhere to them from today onwards until the next changes comes in effect.
Last week, the country saw a major price drop of $3.06 in the cost of Gasoline and Diesel which came as a major relief for the consumers and the decrease in prices of gas this time makes it the 3rd consecutive week when the cost of this product has reduced.
