The sources close to the matter have revealed that the incident might have taken place long before the parents reported it, as the child had visible bruises on his body.

The suspicious death of the four-year-old was reported on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, as he was found dead at an apartment complex on McKinney Avenue. The drowning incident was reported by the child's guardian. Even the preliminary reports suggest that the death has not been caused by drowning.
The child was found in an unresponsive manner with some bruises on the body. It is also alleged that the child's mother stalled before calling the police and said that she reportedly attempted to perform CPR on the child. The police officials in the Bahamas have yet to release information concerning the matter to the general public.
Meanwhile, the National Security Minister of the country, Wayne Munroe has urged the general public to be patient and allow the authorities to conduct thorough investigation before actually revealing it to everyone. Munroe also said that the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear and added that the next step in the investigation is to conduct an autopsy to determine the exact of the suspicious death. The citizens and residents have also expressed their concerns over the incident and are alleging that the parents have their hand in the death of the child.
"I hope they did not stage that scene with the drowning. The child was too old to drown in a tub," wrote a user named Kevin Tquest, while another user said, "Sound like they beat that child, And carry him on the beach to drown in the water. Lock them up."
