Anitgua: Campbell Jackson murder suspects kept in custody
Breakthrough led to arrests last week
The three men accused of killing Green Bay man Campbell Jackson have been remanded in custody.
Alexis Mussington, Arthur James and Kennecha Marcel appeared in court in St John's yesterday charged with killing 66-year-old Jackson in May.They were also charged with the attempted murder of Jackson's son, Jari Jackson, and his friend Tevin George.
The trio are set for committal proceedings in March 2018.
The victim died outside of his home in Hill Crest Road when a gunman appeared at around 10.30pm on 25 May and opened fire.Jackson had been sitting at the front of his house with his son Jari Jackson and a friend, Tevin George, when the incident happened.
According to Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, all three ran for cover but Campbell Jackson was shot in the back, killing him instantly.
George suffered a gunshot wound to his right shoulder and Jari Jackson a similar injury to his right leg.
