Trinidad and Tobago police captures 3 with weapons, camouflage clothing
The Trinidad and Tobago police on Thursday captured three individuals with pistols, ammo and camouflage clothing. The seizures and arrests occurred when officers of the Western Division Task Force and the Canine Unit conducted an anti-crime exercise in the Diego Martin district between 2 am and 7 am.The operational units continue in their dedicated efforts to take illegal firearms off the streets, with the arrest of three persons and the seizure of a pistol, a firearm component, two magazines, and quantities of ammunition and camouflage clothing in the Western Division (WD).

During the exercise, officers executed a search warrant at the Richplain Road home of two suspects. The search resulted in officers finding one P80 pistol, the ammunition, the firearm component and five articles of camouflage clothing.
The two suspects at the house at the time of the exercise were arrested in connection with the finds.
The same party of officers then proceeded to Lanse Mitan Road, Carenage, where they found one article of camouflage clothing at the
home of a male suspect.
