Prince Philip peacefully died this morning at Windsor Castle
Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, who had been the companion to Queen Elizabeth for 73 years, passed away at Windsor Castle this morning.

Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, who had been the companion to Queen Elizabeth for 73 years, passed away at Windsor Castle this morning.
“It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has declared the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle,” the Royal Family’s Twitter handle said in a post.

Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, was hospitalized to the private King Edward VII’s Hospital on Feb. 16 after he experiencing sickness and was given treatment for an indefinite, but not COVID-19-related, disease.
