Premier Brantley discusses upcoming projects in Nevis during SKNCIC’s quarterly luncheon

St Kitts and Nevis: Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley spent an informative and interactive afternoon with the Nevis chapter of the St Kitts and Nevis Chamber of Commerce at their quarterly luncheon. The event took place on Tuesday at Stella’s Kitchen on Long Point Road in Nevis. During the luncheon, several important topics were discussed, including the Vance Amory International Airport Expansion Project, Alexandra Hospital Expansion Project and the Economic Outlook for Nevis for the Remainder of 2024.

While sharing glimpses of the event on his official Facebook account, Premier Brantley congratulated the Nevis chapter and its leadership for building tremendous momentum for the work of this critical private sector organisation in Nevis. He also took the opportunity to encourage all businesses large and small alike to become members of the Chamber.

“It was truly an honour for me to be in such illustrious company,” outlined the Premier. In addition to this, Mark Brantley also said that Nevis is open for business and is looking forward to making huge investments in each sector.

He also talked about the Geothermal project and said that during the upcoming fiscal year, the Government will continue to evaluate the optimal renewable energy mix and make plans for the project in Nevis.

The Premier also discussed the Government’s vision to transform St Kitts and Nevis into a Sustainable Island State and emphasised on discussing the obstacles to economic growth while seeking to address the challenges collaboratively.

Notably, Mark Brantley has consistently voiced his plans to expand the island of Nevis by executing major projects which will contribute to the overall growth and development of St Kitts and Nevis. The St Kitts and Nevis Chamber of Commerce has also always shown their determination and commitment to work collaboratively with the leaders of St Kitts and Nevis in order to bring significant enhancements in the Federation, especially in the field of business.
